Circle of Pebbles

"The watch ticking, that's all I could hear. In the hustle and bustle of the airport, all I could hear was her watch ticking. We were leaning against a cold pillar. The day was hot, too hot to bare, there were no seats left and I was so tired. I knew though, that if I gave in, and let my body sink to the cool tiled floor, I'd lose what strength I had left."
